Cross-border collaboration carries real uncertainty: you may not be able to meet the other party, see the work in person, or verify a claim independently. ONETO does not remove that uncertainty. What it provides is structure — a defined process, records of what happened, and a way to raise a problem — so that cross-border work is easier to follow and review than an unstructured arrangement typically allows.
Trust Is Built Through Process
ONETO does not ask users to trust each other on faith, and it does not certify that any user is trustworthy. Instead, it structures cross-border collaboration into stages — defining an outcome, agreeing a Work Order, executing, submitting evidence, reviewing, and accepting — each producing a platform record. Clearer responsibility and a traceable process narrow the space for misunderstanding and make problems easier to identify; they do not guarantee that any specific person, claim, or result is genuine.
Identity and Profile Context
Account creation requires an email address; email verification confirms control of that address only, not a person's identity, qualifications, or legal authority. Profile information — location, languages, specializations, service regions, and availability — is largely self-declared. A profile field, organization description, or discovery listing is a starting point for a user's own judgment, not confirmation of identity, competence, or good standing. Where ONETO does apply a specific reviewed authority, such as professional qualification information reviewed for platform display, that scope is limited and described below.
Task Evidence and Review
Every Task follows the same structure: a Work Order sets out the agreed scope and steps; the assigned executor carries out the work and submits evidence — photos, video, files, or written observations — against each step; the requester reviews that evidence against the Work Order and may accept it, or request a revision tied to a specific, stated gap. Acceptance records the requester's decision inside the platform workflow.
Evidence supports this review; it is not by itself proof of objective truth. A timestamp, a location field, or a successful upload does not independently confirm that evidence is authentic, unaltered, or complete. Acceptance is the requester's own decision, not ONETO's certification that the work was done correctly or that the outcome is legally or commercially sound.
Signal Responsibility
Signal authors are responsible for what they publish: its accuracy, its sources, and their right to publish it. Publication does not mean ONETO has authored, endorsed, or independently verified the content. Where ONETO displays a provenance or source-context label, that label describes only the limited basis shown and is not a guarantee of accuracy. Readers should treat Signal content as informational and verify anything they intend to rely on for a legal, financial, or safety decision.
Professional Qualifications
Some users may hold a reviewed professional qualification — for example, a Lawyer credential — displayed through an active platform Capability. That review means only that submitted materials were reviewed for platform display. It is not a government license, a professional certification, regulatory approval, or a guarantee of competence, insurance, or good standing. If a Capability is suspended or revoked, the associated display stops. Users should verify a professional's current standing directly with the relevant regulator or registry before relying on it.

Reporting and Review Channels
Today, in-product reporting is available for Signal content and Signal comments: a user can flag a specific reason — for example spam, privacy or confidential information, an unsupported accusation, harassment, or a malicious link — and reports are recorded for review where operationally supported. Submitting a report does not itself remove content or establish that a violation occurred. Where supported, ONETO may restrict visibility, remove content, preserve records, or restrict an account's capabilities in response.
Tasks, profiles, and direct messages do not currently have unified in-product reporting, and a broader appeal process is not yet built into the product. Where an issue cannot be raised through in-product reporting, use available account or platform contact channels. A real-world emergency should always go to local emergency services, not ONETO.

Prohibited Conduct
Users may not use ONETO to commit fraud, impersonate a person or organization, fabricate or alter evidence, publish knowingly false or materially misleading content, harass or threaten others, expose private or confidential data without authority, manipulate reviews or platform records, evade commission or platform safeguards, or engage in unlawful or dangerous activity. This is a summary, not the complete list — the Marketplace, Signal, and Network governance rules set out the full boundaries, and ONETO may decline to publish, remove content, or restrict an account for conduct that falls outside them.
Privacy and Communications
Private execution details — exact addresses, contact numbers, access instructions — are kept separate from public Task fields and are visible only to authorized participants. Evidence, professional-qualification materials, and security/audit records are access-restricted to the people and roles that need them. Direct messages are private between participants; ONETO does not read them for marketing purposes, though platform safety, legal, and technical operation may require limited access under the Privacy Policy.
AI and Translation
AI
AI assists with structuring a Task into a plan and with generating language content; it does not decide whether a request is lawful, accurate, or likely to succeed, and it does not verify that a claim is true. A human — the requester, in the case of Task planning — reviews AI-assisted output before it is relied on.
Translation
Public content such as Signals, Tasks, and profiles may be translated automatically by an external provider; translation can contain errors, and the original content remains authoritative. Private messages are translated only when a participant explicitly requests it for that specific message — never automatically.
Payments and Current Boundaries
ONETO tracks a Task's funding, commission, and settlement state through its own internal workflow. Current Production does not connect to a real, regulated payment provider: it does not hold funds in legal escrow, execute a real external payout, or process a real-money refund. A "funded," "settled," or "paid" status reflects an internal platform record, not a confirmed bank transaction. Acceptance or a resolved cancellation can create payout or refund eligibility inside this internal workflow — eligibility is a recorded state, not a completed transfer. Real-money capability depends on a separately approved payment phase and provider integration that has not yet been deployed.

- Current real-money payment, escrow, or payout
Structure does not remove the real risks of working across borders — it makes them easier to see, describe, and address. ONETO's role is to keep the process clear and the record traceable; responsibility for the underlying work, and for the judgment to rely on it, stays with the people doing it.
