Use Signal to find resources, partnerships and local information. When you need someone to actually do something, create a Task.
Two Ways to Start
ONETO has two core parts: Signal and Task. You can start by discovering resources and opportunities through Signal, or create a Task directly when the work is already clear.
Start with Global Discovery
If you have something to offer, are looking for people or opportunities, or know useful local information, start by browsing or posting a Signal.

If you already know what needs to be done and need someone local to carry it out, create a Task directly.
For example: visit a site, contact a supplier, take photos, ask for prices, investigate or collect information.
Post a TaskSignal and Task can be used independently. You only need to move into Task when discovery turns into real-world execution.
Signal: Discover First
Signal helps you discover what people have, what they are looking for, and what is happening locally.
I Have
Share resources, capabilities, services, channels or opportunities you can provide.
For example: I provide customs clearance and cross-border logistics in Zambia.
Looking For
Find people, companies, resources, channels and partnership opportunities.
For example: Looking for mining equipment distributors in Tanzania.
Local Info
Share real local market, price, industry, opportunity and on-the-ground changes.
For example: Mining customers in Zambia are increasingly focused on local after-sales support.
You can browse, search, reply and connect.
Signal is for discovery, not for asking someone to perform work for you.
A Signal does not have to become a Task. Many Signals are simply for finding resources, making connections or understanding local conditions. Move to Task only when you need someone to actually carry out work.
When Should You Move to Task?
If you want to discover who or what is available, use Signal.
If you want someone to actually do something, use Task.

Task: Get Real-World Work Done
When online information is not enough, remote work is impossible, or you need real-world execution, create a Task.
Step 1
Post the Task
Explain what needs to be done, where, when it should be completed, the budget, and what result you expect.
Step 2
Choose an Executor
Select from suitable applicants.
Profiles and platform history can help you assess people, but they are not a guarantee of capability.
Step 3
Do the Work
The executor completes the agreed work such as site visits, contact, photography, investigation, purchasing, collection or other agreed actions.
Step 4
Submit Results and Evidence
The executor submits the agreed result, photos, videos, files or written notes.
Step 5
Review and Complete
The requester reviews the submission, may request reasonable corrections, and confirms completion.
One Task, One Clear Outcome
If a request contains several independent objectives, it is usually better to split them into separate Tasks. This makes responsibility, evidence and review clearer.
