What you actually do on ONETO, and how information, people, execution, and evidence connect.
Two Ways to Start
ONETO has two core products — Signal and Task — supported by one Global Network. You can start from either, depending on what you need.
Start with Signal
When you want to understand a market before acting: read local business information, follow a country, industry, topic, or a specific professional, and see what people with direct local experience are actually observing.

When you already know what needs to happen in a specific place: describe the outcome you need, and ONETO structures it into a Task that a local executor can accept and complete.
Post a TaskThe two connect naturally — a Signal can surface a need that becomes a Task — but neither is a step inside the other. Each stands on its own.
1. Discover
Signal is where users browse and search local business information across six fixed categories — industry knowledge, local updates, market updates, opportunities and needs, practical experience, and professional views — filtered by country, industry, topic, or a tracked entity. Users can save content for later, and follow (Watch) a country, industry, topic, entity, or a specific author to keep receiving that author's future published Signals.
The Global Network supports discovery of people and organizations: operator profiles show country, city, languages, specializations, service regions, and accepting-Tasks status; organization profiles show name, type, and description. Discovery, following, or profile visibility is not an endorsement — it is a starting point for a user's own judgment, not a guarantee of identity, competence, or availability.
2. Define the Need
A requester creates a Task by describing a real-world outcome needed in a specific country or city: what the outcome is, the budget and deadline, and what evidence would show the work was done. AI assists in turning this description into a structured plan — proposed steps and expected evidence — but the requester reviews and approves that plan before it goes further. AI does not decide whether a request is lawful, accurate, professionally sound, or likely to succeed; those remain the requester's responsibility.
3. One Task, One Outcome
One Task = one independently verifiable outcome = one execution responsibility = one evidence package = one acceptance decision = one settlement obligation.
If a request actually contains several outcomes that could be executed and reviewed independently, ONETO expects them to be published as separate Tasks rather than combined into one. “Independently verifiable” describes how a Task is structured for review — not a claim that the platform has independently confirmed the outcome is true.
The Task Lifecycle
Once a Task is defined and its outcome is set, it moves through a structured sequence from publication to acceptance.
Step 4
Publish to the Task Marketplace
The Task completes its funding stage and is published to the Task Marketplace, where executors can find it. Task architecture includes a funding stage, but current Production does not connect to a real, regulated payment provider — funding today is an internal, test-mode workflow state, not a live charge.
Step 5
Find the Right Local Executor
Executors browse or search the marketplace and apply through an execution request. The requester selects one executor, who becomes responsible for the Task's outcome. Profile information — including, where applicable, professional qualification information reviewed for platform display — supports that decision, but is not a guarantee of competence.
Step 6
Work Order
The approved plan becomes the Task's Work Order — the agreed record of scope and steps that execution follows. A later material change goes through a Change Order, producing a new Work Order version.
Step 7
Execute
The executor works through the Task's steps and records progress. ONETO provides the workspace and structure; the executor remains responsible for working lawfully, safely, and within their own competence.
Step 8
Submit Evidence
The executor submits evidence — photos, video, files, and written observations — tied to the relevant step. Evidence is what makes a Task reviewable; it is not, by itself, proof of objective truth.
Step 9
Review and Revision
The requester reviews evidence against the agreed outcome and Work Order. A revision request must be tied to a specific gap — not new requirements or additional unpaid work.
Step 10
Accept the Outcome
When satisfied, the requester accepts the submitted work. Acceptance records the requester's decision inside the platform workflow — it is not ONETO certifying the outcome.
11. Funding and Settlement — Current Boundary
Task architecture includes a funding stage and a settlement stage as part of every Task's lifecycle. Today, that runs through ONETO's internal financial workflow: funding, commission, and payout/refund states are tracked as internal platform records.

Real-money capability
Not yet connected. No real, regulated payment provider, no legal escrow, no real external payout, no real-money refund.
Acceptance or a resolved cancellation can create payout or refund eligibility inside this internal workflow — eligibility is a recorded state, not a completed transfer. Real-money capability opens only once a payment phase and provider integration are formally approved and connected.
Signal Is Its Own Product
Signal is not just a way into Task. It is its own product: a place to keep building market awareness, follow people and topics over time, and, for eligible contributors, publish longer professional analysis (Insight) or build a following around published knowledge. A user may use Signal regularly and rarely or never publish a Task, just as a user may publish many Tasks without engaging with Signal at all.

Global Network
Operator and organization profiles for finding people and organizations by location, language, and capability.
Multilingual access
Interface and public content available across English, Chinese, French, and Arabic. Automated translation can contain errors; the original content remains authoritative.
Messaging and notifications
Direct communication and status alerts tied to Task and Signal activity.
Organizations
A person can act for an organization profile on a Task or Signal, where membership or role relationship is recorded on the platform.
These are supporting infrastructure for Task and Signal, not additional core products.
What ONETO Does — and Does Not Do

- That a person's identity, claims, or profile information are true
- A professional's competence, licensing, or good standing — platform review is not certification
- That submitted evidence is authentic or complete
- That any Task will succeed, or that its outcome is commercially or legally sound
- That a user's instructions or a Task's purpose are lawful
- Current real-money payment, escrow, or payout
ONETO's role is to make the process — request, plan, execution, evidence, review, decision — clear and traceable. Responsibility for the underlying work, its legality, and its quality remains with the requester and the executor.
